Spring 2014 Information: 

This course is designed to enhance the ability of the students to read, speak, write, and exchange ideas on Chinese literature and literary criticism at an advanced level. Students will be trained to handle authentic texts in the original and to do research on/with primary materials.

Course Description: 

Selected readings of Chinese literature and literary criticism in the original language. Texts of various genres and from different periods of the Chinese literary tradition will be read and discussed in Chinese.
