Dong Yang

Graduate Program, Teaching Assistant

Dong Yang is a student in the Masters Program. He received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in Philosophy and Comparative Literature, with a minor in American Literature. His current research interests include twentieth century French philosophy (Deleuze, Sartre); Marxist literary theory (Georg Lukács, Fredric Jameson, Raymond Williams); Hegel's aesthetics; modern American poetry; and Chuanqi fiction in the Tang Dynasty.
