Meltem Safak

Meltem Şafak received her undergraduate degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey and she holds two Master’s degrees respectively in Cultural Studies from Istanbul Sehir University and in Comparative History from Central European University, Budapest, Hungary.

Her research interests include the encounter of Ottoman Armenian and Turkish literatures during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, transnational literature, gender, and the representation of mental disorders in literary works. "
